Membership

We suggest that you read this page, but if you already are convinced that you want to join, and you are ready to send in your application, then you may simply click one of the two bars below and fill out the application form that will appear.  You may also click one of these same bars to renew your existing membership.

Membership in AIDIS is open to all who are concerned with improving the environment and health in the Americas, and who are willing to support the objectives of the Association. Individual or corporate members of the USA Section (USAIDIS) are automatically members of AIDIS InterAmericana, which provides access to AIDIS publications, involvement with AIDIS’s 12 technical divisions, and contact information for each of AIDIS member countries. Interested persons or institutions can request additional information and application forms directly from us by entering their name and email address below.

If you’re not yet a member, and what you’ve learned on this website or elsewhere has sparked your interest, then please join USAIDIS (AIDIS-USA).  You’ll be able to benefit from our programs, and we’ll benefit from your participation.  We are seeking to increase our membership in order to support an expanded program, and we need you!

Dues:  Individual annual dues are $50 for individuals and $150 for corporate and institutional members, covering the calendar year from January through December.  The corporate/institutional dues include membership for one member or employee of the corporation/institution.  Students and Peace Corps Volunteers may join for $10.

New members who join between January and June pay full dues: if they join between July and October they pay half-dues to cover the remainder of the year; if they join between mid-October and the end of the year, there are no dues for the remainder of the current calendar year, on condition that the full dues for the following year are prepaid at the time of joining AIDIS-USA.
