Mr. Carl-Axel Soderberg, former
President of AIDIS, and Director of the USEPA Caribbean
Environmental Protection Division office in Puerto Rico, will give
a presentation on the environmental profile of the Caribbean. Mr.
Soderberg has more than 30 years of experience in the
environmental protection field, and has been with USEPA since
1992. Formerly, he served as the Vice Chairman of the
Environmental Quality Board of Puerto Rico, as well as the
Director of Water Quality. He also worked for the Puerto Rico
Aqueduct and Sewer Authority where he developed and implemented
the Industrial Pretreatment Program.This should be of great
interest to engineers, scientists, and others who have an interest
in environmental issues in Latin America.
