We are pleased to invite you to a special luncheon meeting with Dawn Kristof, President of the Water and Wastewater Equipment Manufacturers Association (WWEMA).  Ms. Kristof will discuss
the primary impediments to exporting US water and wastewater equipment and services to Latin America, as well potential solutions. She will offer insights into how our industry can better serve the environmental needs of Latin America, and where the greatest opportunities for US businesses lie.

WWEMA is a non-profit trade organization founded in 1908 to inform, educate, and provide leadership on issues which affect the worldwide water and wastewater equipment industry.   Ms. Kristof became President of WWEMA in 1984, after being affiliated with WWEMA almost continuously since 1976.  In addition, she serves on the Environmental Technologies Trade Advisory Committee, advising the US Government on export policies and programs. She also plays an active role in the H2O (How to Optimize Water) Coalition, helping to generate public awareness of domestic water infrastructure needs.  Ms. Kristof is a former president of the Federal Water Quality Association--a member association of the Water Environment Federation (WEF). She is a proud member of WEF's "Select Society of Sanitary Sludge Shovelers" (commonly known as the "5S" Society); and she is the recipient of WEF's "William D. Hatfield Award" for
outstanding performance and professionalism in 2003.
