AIDIS-USA is pleased to join with the
local ASCE Committees on Water Resources and International Affairs
for a special meeting with Ron Hoffer of the U.S. Environmental
Protection Agency (EPA) Office of Water. Mr. Hoffer represented the
USEPA at recent world conferences on the environment, including the
World Summit on Sustainable Development in Johannesburg and the
International Conference on Fresh Water in Bonn. He has also
managed international components of the USEPA Office of Water in
Central America and Africa.
The meeting will be held at the Pier 7 Restaurant, with a reception
starting at 11:30 am, followed by lunch. The cost of the luncheon
is $20 (checks should be make out to "ASCE-NCS"). Pier 7 is located
at 650 Water Street, SW on Washington's Waterfront area, four blocks
from the L'Enfant Plaza Metro Stations. Parking is available for
